Recycling cans uses 90-95 percent less energy than manufacturing from virgin materials ( aluminium deposits found in ores), and produced 95 percent less emissions in the process. It is said that one aluminium beverage can thrown in the garbage is equivalent to throwing away half a can of gasoline fuel.
