EEG shall once again to make history by promoting climate solutions through planting trees in the UAE. EEG connects its waste management programme to the tree planting campaign through its "11.11.11 One Root One Communi-Tree Program"
Different organization, schools, families and individuals that are successful in collecting and depositing a minimum amount of waste materials for recycling will be given an opportunity to plant a tree in their name in one of the public places in the UAE on November 11, 2011.
The objectives of this project is to divert waste from landfills, to turn recycling into a habit, to promote volunteerism and civic responsibility in the society and to expand the sustainable green patch in the UAE.
